Google Chrome – The Fast and Secure Web Browser App Reviews

This app has totally tanked. Crashes all the time. History is inaccessible and crashes when you try to type. This issue should not have gone this long without resolution from a giant like google. Disappointed.

Ive been using Chrome as my primary browser for several years. Mainly because of the shared bookmarks and passwords with Chrome on my PC. In the last week or so, with latest IOS v. 8.4, Chrome shuts down after a minute or so of operation. Ive tried signing out of Google, deleting Chrome, and reinstalling with no results. UPDATE 5/13/2017: I keep trying latest versions of Chrome app and it continues to be virtually unusable, freezing intermittently sometimes for 10-30 seconds, other times requiring shutdown and restart of the app. Highly recommend you not try this app.

its slowed way down and probs moves slower than internet explorer now fix this yall

Whenever I go to history and try the search button, when I type anything the app instantly crashes. Hopefully fixed quickly.

Last update ruined google on my PC and on my iPhone6. Fix this crap! Slow, crashing, issues all over the place.

I would like to see in the widget: a button that closes the incognito tabs similar to how that option is on the Android side.

A bit messy... the google search app is much better for mobile and this is better for desktop! Its not the best but okay/usable.

I keep going into my history trying to search for something and it keeps crashing when I get to the third letter of whatever it is that I am typing. Other than that, the app is fine.

This last update.... terrible! App doesnt even work now. Cant search anything! This was my main search engine on my phone.... very disappointed! Fix now!

This used to be a pretty solid and dependable app. The past few releases have been awful. My browser has been restarting for no reason frequently, pages die without clear cause, and reloading the pages can at times take 30+ seconds if I dont kill the app first

Chrome keeps getting slower. Hogs memory and causes crash/reboot. Latest update doesnt show links properly. Everything is in plain text.

The newest update has slowed every aspect of the app. As I continue to use it, it now crashes frequently as well.

There is no point to using this. Safari is faster, smoother, and has many available ad blockers on the App Store. I honestly dont see the point to use this and be inundated with the ads. I use the Google app and safari, works for me.

When the update happen I now cant use mobile you tube on chrome now and most flash games that I was able to play are now un playable due to the update! Please fix this to before the update.

Program is so slow I no longer use it. In the past it was my favorite browser but safari is considerably faster now. Please fix it.

Most of the components of iOS have turned into a mess. Widgets dont work, mail frequently loses sync, reminders frequently fail to alert, Safari cant delete all cookies, etc. Google Chrome steps in to at least save the day for my web browsing. It works so much better than the slow and bug-riddled Safari. Ive stopped using Safari and its numerous zombie cookies. Google also helped by offering replacements for iOS mail and iOS calendar. Now... if only they could show Apple how to make a properly functioning widget. Sometimes I really envy Android owners.

This is happening often. I reload same site with Safari and no crash.

It used to be amazing before this new update. Fix ASAP!

The only reason I use this app is listen to YouTube songs on background. Cant do that anymore???
