I used to have a YouTube video playing in background will looking at other tabs. Now if you switch to a new tab the video will pause automatically. Screw you google! Update: I just use split screen and browse the web with safari while chrome plays YouTube. Still very annoying of google.

Hello, I have been having an issue with the history link on my iPod touch 6 not working after updating the app. I have to uninstall and reinstall the application to clear my history on the application, please fix the bug, it doesnt affect the way it works, its just annoying

I use it all the time. Not sure why google has chrome and a Google app itself. I think the Chrome app is a little more buggy

Google Chrome on mobile has a neat UI, though it can be confusing to find the settings and to sync to other accounts.

I only downloaded this app in the hope I could listen to my podcasts on YouTube while playing in my phone. Now I need to use my PlayStation and my phone. Why?!?! All the other web browser did this too. I dont understand why this would be done unless either A) its a bug you are working on or B) theres going to be a way to do it but we have to pay for it dont we? (Edit after response) CALLED IT! Pay for this feature we use to give you for free. We arent your cash cows. Taking away features isnt what Id call trustworthy either but making us pay for it really shows your view on us as your customers.

History search keeps crashing app

This app was great and than they downgraded it with a supposed update and I had over 20 tabs deleted also their restore button option didnt even work I officially deleted it dont install this itll your the worst mistake you ever made.

Whatever version that they just installed on my phone doesnt work... it wont go past the email sign in screen... meh FIX IT PLEASE!!!

I cant even justify one star. Chrome has rusted out. Especially after this last update. It was supposed to fix bugs--not create more.

As of today the app wont launch. Its been fine until now but looking at all the other issues here Ill just stick to safari. Who has the time?

What happened? Why is Chrome no longer a project create for simple use and fast performance? If I wanted all these needless features, Id use a custom version of Chrome.

Was a great app. Now keeps freezing. New tabs dont display without freezing. Gmail innChrome especially problematic. I cant see any incremental benefit of the new release, only negatives.

Ive been using Chrome as my iPad browser for a few years. Its had sporadic problems in the past, but with this latest update, its become unusable. It literally takes forever to load a page when the same page loads on Safari in seconds. And if you pale in comparison to Safari, you are in a heap of trouble. And now, it crashes early and often. Hey you imbeciles at Google: are you so busy spying on us (see Waze) that youve overburdened your own servers? Were on to your corporate spying. Knock it off and get your software to work, you clowns.

Have to start using Firefox.

I never had this many issues with using the Chrome browser app and now its not even operating properly. The app wont even let me get to the home page before timing out. Any links I click on via email to trigger the app to open leads to a dead end. I hope the Google team resolves the issue with this very soon because it really is a change of pace having to use an alternate browser Im not as fond of.

Chrome has become an incredible alternative browser on iOS. Its fast, syncs bookmarks with the Mac version, and even has a built in QR code reader and widget now. It even has split view on the iPad. Theyve done an amazing job recently supporting the latest iOS features, with the exception of 3D touch peek and pop within the app to preview links. I would love to see this added, if its possible within the limitations of iOS. The bookmarks UI still feels clunky as well. Its difficult to go back to the top-level bookmarks list (no back button) and I feel like it should be easier to edit bookmarks as well. Overall, amazing app and I love using this as my daily browser.

Chrome is now a major battery hog. Battery has been sucked down regularly since the update.
