Google Chrome – The Fast and Secure Web Browser App Reviews

It works okay on my iPad mini but tells me that my iPad isnt connected to wifi even though it is and when I do it on safari it works. I also cannot see the chrome logo on the app its just the gray and white grid thing.

Why fix something that isnt broken? It now takes me three separate steps to bookmark anything where it used to take only one step. I can no longer browse through my bookmarks because they are now randomly placed, ate considerably smaller in font and all squished together. The browser is difficult to use because it is slower, more cumbersome to use, less efficient, and continually crashes. Wake up, Google, updates should improve a product, not take away most of its functionality.

Many pages make the browser crash. I am a chrome user in desktop but unfortunately I have not been able to make the switch in mobile due to these frequent crashes.

Increase security same like using email And increase block address And give more things like print pdf and add bookmarked page or any page to home screen, I need more easiest way that help me in my life to be more complicated. Secure ports and close other open machine from only one port and only one machine for higher security , why hackers know everything i keep or bookmark it ! Dont give them any chance!

Bring back the old bookmarks. It was fine the way it was! Stop "innovating" for the sake of innovating!

Worked just fine and now doesnt even start up. Erased app and tried to re download and it still doesnt work. Garbage, going back to Safari...

Wont even load now. Deleting the app.

It keeps telling me that I do not have an Internet connection. All other apps connect online without trouble but this one will not work at all.

I love the browser, thats not the problem. The problem is that there is absolutely no way I could find in three hours time to unlock my chrome because of a phishing scam. Its sad that I couldnt access any functions after trying to clear the ram/cache, restarting my phone, airplane mode, and more, along with combinations of all of them.

Do not update! New update completely freezes on the homepage & constantly crashes.

You really need to warn people before you do random updates. Your stupid unnecessary update on 4/20/16 killed all the tabs I had open. Thanks a lot, holier-than-thou stoners.

You would think that the chromecast would work with Google chrome ipad. However it doesnt. It does on PC but not mobile. Thats crazy. I had to download a third party browser to do what Google should have done from the beginning. What was Google thinking? Listen to us Google if you want to stay ahead of the curve.

Where do I start? The bookmarks are nonexistent/terrible, the Internet ONLY WORKS ON GOOGLE and it only works on other sites 0.01 percent of the time. This app is now horrible. The only good app is now the actual Google app.

I have an iPhone 4 sure its old but come on at least let me have the new experience on ios 7.1.2

Chrome for iOS has always had crash problems but the last few updates have removed all the features that made this any different from safari. Web pages no longer reload to where u were, and text editing has been cut back to non-existent. Still refuse to use safari, though these recent updates are making my decision strictly a moral one rather than a pragmatic one.

I was just caught in a spammy infinite loop of alert dialogs. I tried everything I could think of to get the alerts to go away so I could use the browser, including restarting the browser, turning off cellular data and wifi, and seeing if there was anything that could help me in iPhone settings. Nothing works. Desktop browsers will prompt you to see if you want to stop a site from creating more alerts. Chrome in iOS apparently doesnt do that. Update: I was able to get off the page with the spammy alerts by uninstalling and reinstalling the app, in case this happens to you.

This app is stalling mid- update. No matter how many times Ive tried to re-start the update it wont complete. And I cant delete it either. So I guess its back to Safari. Fix this Google please.

On certain websites like MovieStarPlanet.com it will not let you request desktop site. This needs to be fixed ASAP!!!

You need to block the sites with porn because this is only breaking relationships with friends and our Lord Jesus Christ! Please block them!!!

Updated Review 4/25/16: Still no fix for the idiotic bookmarks situation. So, still giving this app a 1-star rating. Nice job, Google. Stupid. Review 4/1/16 (and I really do wish this was an April Fools joke but its not...): What happened to Google??? What happened to quality assurance? In the latest Chrome update, the bookmarks tab was rendered almost completely useless due to the new idiotic display. Google, whoever is responsible for this latest idea - FIRE THEM. Get your **** straight. First you ruined Google Maps, now youre destroying Chrome. Guess its back to Safari for me...
