Google Chrome – The Fast and Secure Web Browser App Reviews

The main reason I prefer Chrome over Safari is because of its tabbed browsing functionality. I used to be able to open multiple tabs in the background and close and load the next tab seamlessly. Now, with the past 3 updates tabbed browsing is completely broken. Tabs that I open in the background do not load and cannot be refreshed. Please please fix this

Update downloaded today, now the app wont boot up. Cant use google chrome at all now. P.o.s.

The sync between desktop Chrome is very useful.

I love using chrome on all of my devices! One thing I wish chrome had the ability to do is notice when a phone number is a phone number (like on a Wordpress site) and make it a clickable link. Safari can do it, and I understand thats because its apple and that and the phone work together but I dont see a reason why chrome cant launch the phone. Maybe there is a reason that its not a feature but thats my rant!

"Bug fixes"? The latest update completely broke the "print to Google Drive" capability, a function I rely upon daily to upload web pages and docs as PDFs for later printing. The app quite often hangs up when loading pages (it takes incredibly longer for saved passwords to load), and as I said, instead of fixing the print to cloud function, Googles solution was simply to remove the option. Its a pretty sad state of affairs when Googles own browser doesnt work properly with Googles cloud-storage... And its probably asking for too much to add the ability to save/print directly to Dropbox (Googles competitor in the on-line storage arena). Also, as others have noted, Im now constantly logged out of sites after changing apps: why? All in all, the app seems to be headed in the wrong direction, by removing functionality that USED to work as advertised. Until they give us back the print to cloud function, I highly recommend SnapWeb, a print to cloud alternative that allows you to save pages as PDF/JPEG/PNG, then open them in other apps (i.e. you an open it in Google Drive, to save to the cloud).

Dont update to this version, the app crashes whenever you try to open it

Great app but im a little salt because one morning i unlocked my phone and chrome was in those 4 apps on the bottom that say there even when you swipe, and one morning i had only 3 there and i was confused i tried to open chrome from the app store but when i click open nothing happens, its like it disappeared one morning please help google!!

Thanks for eliminating cloud print for iPad. No need to clog the app with useful functionality, was there?

Down date did nothing short of ruining this app I cant even update at all I would give ZERO STARS IF THEYD LET ME !!!! Ive checked resources so BYE GOOGLE!!!!

Google chrome has always worked well, but now I keep getting pop ups that say my "phone was randomly selected as lucky mobile device" Im pretty sure its a scam and I hoped Google chrome would have better security. Unfortunately I cant get out of the pop up without hitting ok which I wont do. Im probably going to end up deleting and redownloading...... If it happens again Ill be done with chrome.

Phone links dont work. I have to memorize the number and peck it in by hand. Very inconsistent web page loading. Sometimes they just dont. And for goodness sake can you actually have menu buttons that are easy to tap?

This latest update has me unable to use the app at all - it consistently crashes right after I open it, even after deleting and reinstalling.

Chrome browser has been crashing frequently on ipad recently. Google, please improve your products quality! You have so many engineers yet nobody seems to pay attention to quality any more.

(May 6, 2016) Latest update for "bug fixes" didnt eliminate bugs, it multiplied them. Im baffled how Google (the biggest & "best" technology company) allows themselves to release such an obviously broken software program? TEST your code before releasing to the public!

Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, this app crashes constantly. Seriously disappointing, and I like Google. Cmon, fix it, its been happening for ages!

I just got a printer which does not use AirPrint but is compatible for Google Cloud Print. For some unknown and mysterious reason you decided to remove the feature in the newest downgrade (you call it update) and now I can hardly print from my iPad. I have to save to iBooks, send to Gmail and from there save it on Drive. Highly inconvenient. Readd the feature for Version 51. Thanks.
