Chrome no longer finishes loading pages. It hangs right around 80% loaded then times out. This includes simple google searches. Absolutely ridiculous.

Theres no way to view your history since the history tab cant load

Sites slow to load and video pauses randomly every 1-5 seconds. Unusable.

After a recent update performance has dropped when on wifi. It takes ages for a page to load, but once you go back to your carriers internet service it runs fine. Needs to be fixed ASAP as not everyone has unlimited data

Chrome is my go-to browser, but its just too slow to use now. Removed and reinstalled a couple of times. Works for a few mins and then its like using dialup. Same urls on Safari and Dolphin dont give me trouble. Even Google queries dont return. I see others have the same issue. Please roll back your recent update.

This version is the first time Ive ever had a problem with Chrome. I cant even use it in its current state. Simply freezes then closes.

Once you hit request desktop site you cannot go back. I tried clearing cookies and the only way to get mobile view back is to reset the app back to default.

Something bad has happened with the last update. My iPhone 6S+ has big latency while opening sites via Wi-Fi. Safari and other apps working fast though. Ping and traceroute checks showing that there are no problems with connection. And Im not the only one who is facing with such problem (you can see through the reviews and find similar feedbacks).

Browser hangs when connected to wifi. Safari does have the issue. please fix!!

Since last update, I cannot reliably load pages when on wifi. The first couple pages will load extremely slowly, but after that, all subsequent pages fail with a timeout error or no internet connection error. I have a constant internet connection in spite of the error, and if I go to Safari, the pages load as expected. If I turn off wifi, the Chrome will load all the pages, but they seem to load slower than normal.

I would use every google product if I could. But since the update, websites that I have visited on a regular basis no longer load or take extra long. It seems to be the worst when I am using wifi. When I switch to safari the sites load immediately (still on wifi), I hate using safari, but it actually works.

Im on iPad 2 with fiber bandwidth. Whenever I notice sluggish responses I chèck whats killing my storage. Although I rarely use Chrome, it will be showing 500-600MB so I delete, reinstall and its back to 60Mb for the app. Chrome is not the only app that does this. However Im usually able to claim 2-3 GB deleting a few hogs on the iPad, I get a bit more speed and responsiveness. I have no idea if the problem would be resolved with a newer $$ iPad with a larger memory, and Im not willing to spend e money to find out.

Loved this app until I updated to iOS 10. Now when i scroll a word will highlight and the app crashes. Even after the latest update. I have sent numerous crash reports. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It is pretty useless. I certainly hope they fix this soon. Got a new update on Dec 5 and it is still randomly selecting text and crashing! This is now two months of being useless. Fix this now!!! It has been 5 months and this easily reproduced bug is still a problem. Try to read a long article and eventually a word will highlight and the app freezes. Come on it cant be that hard to fix!!!!!!

Too buggy after iOS 10 was released

Chrome use to be great but recently started crashing multiple times a day.

Great browser. It is my default one. However the latest update takes forever to load webpage, including Googles own news page. The same site loads instantly in Safari. Please fix it.

Not sure what it is, but something about this recent update causes my entire iPad (mini 4) to freeze, especially if I am trying to use the on-screen keyboard, even in another app (while chrome is open). Will be switching to safari until this issue is fixed
