Google Chrome – The Fast and Secure Web Browser App Reviews

I dont know whether its 1. Chrome (why must Googles products be SO constantly dependent on a live Internet connection? or perhaps its Google punishing those of us who choose iPhone over Android) or 2. iOS (why must Apples updates be SO backwards in-compatible? or perhaps its Apple punishing those of us who choose Chrome over Safari), but this damned browser crashes CONSTANTLY. Especially if you use the synced bookmarks a lot, like me (which is pretty much the main reason you would choose a browser over Safari - the ability to sync your bookmarks and/or tabs with a PC (or any non-Apple computer or device). Im sick of being the collatoral damage in the war between Apple and Google. At least when Microsoft ruled the earth, back in the days of Bill Gates, the products more or less worked and were backwards-compatible.

I remember when Chrome was first released... its allure was that it was a very light browser that was just FAST. Over the years, with incremental changes, management of this Google project has fallen into the same trap that eveything else does: They lost sight of the initial vision. Chrome is now so bogged down by "features" that it has become one of the worst and slowest apps out there, on the iPhone and the computer. Were systematically removing it from our computers and servers at work now because it has become just useless.

I have used this app a lot and I never have problems with it.

Ive been using this app for years but after this last update all it does is crash. When I try to pull up websites it crashes, when I try to look back on my history it crashes. I dont know if its my phone or the app but hopefully this gets resolved quick.

Crash, crash, crash, almost every time you use its crashing! Constantly having to reset the phone or re-install this app typical google junk!

Ive been google for years, after the recent upgrade (downgrade really) it wont even open. Ive uninstalled & reinstalled several times and it just wont open. Fix it!

Since the update the screen will go straight to the bottom of the page and I cant stop it..

After the update I cant have background sound playing. Incredibly slow.

When I try to load a website from Google search results in incognito mode, the tabs close instantly.

When I click a Google search link it tries to load the page and then just goes back to the search results. Have to open in new tab to view it. Frustrating.

At the homepage there is a button that says apps but when I tap on it it doesnt show the apps

I have been a loyal user of chrome I DO NOT USE ANY OTHER BROWSER. But what has gone wrong with chrome lately?? Every time I try searching my history it crashes. Then I see all the tabs are out of sync and last but not the least it crashes again when I open a tab.

Update slowed everything down, go back to last update please!

After I got the recent update, all my bookmarks were deleted. Not happy.

Since the update everything is horribly slow. Switching between or opening tabs takes no less than 3 seconds to do. It used to be great and now its horrible. Fix it now please.
