Frequent grey-screen crashes

While browsing on an iPhone 6S, I often experience lock ups or crashes where the browser screen goes to a solid dark grey background. The history back/forth keys, bookmarks and refresh features have no effect also.
Only workaround is to exit the browser app and reopen. I hope this is resolved soon.
