Frequent Freezeups

After the latest update, Chrome often becomes unresponsive and freezes on many pages. I wouldnt be doing anything super intensive, just browsing with one tab open. Closing and reopening the app doesnt help, neither does a reboot.

Very disappointing, Chrome used to be my go-to, Im giving Safari another go.
